From Narrabri, we decided to take the hour-ish drive up to the summit of Mount Kaputar National Park. A fantastic lookout and worth the drive out of town.
The majority of the drive out was on a gravel road, but it was in good condition and suitable for a 2wd car. Parking is only about a 2-minute walk from the summit.
